Rules
The Planet List is a public leaderboard. There are no ads, no API keys and no revenue share. You pay to sit above everyone else. Rank is the bid — nothing else.
How ranking works
- New spots are placed in whole euros, starting at €1. There is no cap — bid as high as you like. Bids already on the board keep their amount until they are raised or overtaken.
- Taking #1 costs at least €1 more than the current top bid. Bid less and you still land on the board, at the rank your bid covers. On tied bids, the order they were placed applies — the older bid keeps the higher rank.
- Enter the same website or @handle again to raise your spot to any rank. The new bid must be at least €1 above your current bid and you only pay the difference. Nobody else can take your rank by paying that difference.
- Links to the App Store, Play Store, GitHub and similar platforms are counted per path, so different apps don't share the same bid. Tracking parameters in links are ignored.
What you can list
- A website (domain), a product (name + URL), or a profile on Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn or YouTube.
- By placing a bid you confirm that you own or control what you list, or that you are authorized by the owner to list it on their behalf. If you list on someone's behalf, you are responsible for having that authorization — if the owner disputes it, the owner's verified claim prevails.
- Chat and invite links are not allowed — Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal and the like. The list is for products and profiles, not group chats.
- Links to sexual content are not allowed. Porn, NSFW or adult platforms don't belong on the list.
- Query parameters are stripped from listing links. Affiliate, referral and tracking links don't work.
- Shortened links are not allowed. Link directly to your page.
- Entries in breach of these rules may be removed without refund — the payment secures placement, not placement in violation of the rules.
After payment
- Your spot is public. Clicks go to the URL or profile you entered, without query parameters.
- A completed payment is what secures the rank.
- Your entry never expires and is never removed — being outbid moves you down, never off.
- The country flag is locked once published. One correction is possible within 24 hours of publishing, from the confirmation page.
Reclaiming what's yours
- Rightful owners may reclaim or remove entries listing their property by verifying control: a DNS TXT record for domains, or a temporary line in the profile bio for social handles. The owner reclaims their spot.
- To start a reclaim, contact us with proof of control as described above. Verified claims always prevail over a bidder's placement.
